The Full Story

About

In 1955, Randy Ruff lived on 65th South Black Stone until his parents purchased their first home in Dixmoor, IL. in 1967.

The South Side Chicago communities, up to 1963, enjoyed fruit trees on every block - apple trees, raspberry and blueberry bushes, etc.

These communities were prosperous, drug-free, no gang recruitment, or violent crimes committed up to 1970.

However, as investment dollars stopped flowing within the Chicago South Side communities in the early 1960's, wealthy families began to move to other safer and self-sustaining communities.

Drugs began to spread, and ultimately destroy families, job opportunities, job-training opportunities, and the value and support of a meaningful education within the South Side communities.

Real Estate Developers 1 (formerly known as Commercial Funding 1 Corp) was established in 2017, to provide funding for Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, Residential and Business projects.

Commercial Funding 1 Corp changed its name to Real Estate Developers 1 to help bring investment dollars within all the Chicago land communities, and provide real estate ownership opportunities for multi-units owner-occupied buyers.
